From a touch of luxury to characterful heritage, experience one of our truly inspiring holiday properties.

Located in the designated Solway Coast AONB, this large detached property commands dramatic coastal and countryside panoramas from every room.

Stunningly set by the sea, in the designated Solway Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this large detached property commands dramatic panoramas from every room, over the sea to Scotland and meadows to the Lake District Fells. Seaview stands in an unspoilt seashore hamlet of 28 homes, and is surrounded by its own enclosed gardens, with vast sands just over the road. It has eight good-sized bedrooms (three with en-suite facilities). There is ample room for large groups, making it a perfect holiday destination for families to get together in a seaside/rural area. Between the house and sands is a nature reserve, a park-like greensward stretching for 12 miles from the Victorian seaside resort of Silloth (3 miles) to the fishing harbour of Maryport (9 miles) with play areas and delightful shoreline walks. The Beckfoot sands offer rock pools, sea angling, sailing, windsurfing, kite surfing and swimming, as well as an abundance of bird life and glorious sunsets to enjoy. Behind the house quiet lanes wind through the Solway Plain and offer excellent cycle routes. Just 2½ miles down the road is a modern leisure centre, with indoor swimming-pool, spa, sauna, gym, tennis, shop and café. Five 18-hole golf courses are nearby – Silloth’s is in the ‘Top 100’ and is a championship qualifying course. With Hadrian’s Wall, the Lake District National Park and the Scottish Borders all easily accessible, this makes an ideal touring centre. Shop and pub 3 miles.

Brilliant holiday home for a large group, well equipped, clean and tidy. Great views and sandy beach. Good range of bedrooms, lots of bathrooms. Plenty of parking space. Games room was a real hit with the kids (big and small) !!

Our family of 15 - ages 7 to 68 had a great and memorable holiday here. The house is spacious, warm, comfortable and well equipped. It has a wonderful location with marvellous sunsets. Jonty next door came to check we were OK which was reassuring. Recommended :- Bonfires on the beach toasting marshmallows, Aquarium and Climbing Wall at Maryport and Sunday lunch at the Golf Hotel in Silloth (good food and service, don't be put off by it's exterior) We would all love to go again.

When we arrived on Friday night the house was freezing and the heating had been turned to off. We could not get hold of the caretaker next door so we then tried to speak to one of the owners but again we could not contact anyone so Friday was a cold night because we could not get the heating to work. Thankfully it came on automatically for the rest of our stay. The house itself was ideal for our large party and dog.

Really nice place. Very spacious and well looked-after, with a lovely view over the Solway Firth and a big garden. For groups it works really well as it has lots of space and also three separate communal areas (a large lounge, a games room and a spacious dining room). A slight criticism would be that it's not very well-stocked in terms of a few basic starter things for cooking (almost all of the many self-catered places I have stayed in before has things like oil for guests to use), washing up stuff, toilet roll etc. However, otherwise, it's a nice property. I'd definitely stay again.

It was in a great location for views but there was some traffic noise in the front bedrooms but the compensation was the great view, we wouldnt stay there again not because we didnt like it but because we like to visit different places.

Very nice house, only area where it falls down is comfort / age of sofas in lounge.
