Guests should be made aware of difficulty to park car on busy road and having to carry luggage up steep steps.

The only problem was the parking situation. We could never get parked outside ended up parking up thr Bonchurch Shute. Major problem packing and unpacking. The only reason we would look elsewhere. Sorry.really lovely place

We had issues while staying at Seaview cottage and did not receive assistance while we were there, even after making contact with the caretakers and them agreeing to visit the next day, they never tuned up or called us back. We did receive compensation after various emails with the owner, however the compensation was equal to 14% of the holiday price which was far less than we had expected as we lost 1 out of 3 nights stay due to having to clean the cottage ourselves on arrival, so we would have expected any compensation to reflect the time lost. The issues we had while staying at Seaview cottage: • Overwhelming smell of wet dog downstairs, especially in the lounge. • Both lounge sofas were covered in dog hair - we had to hoover and disinfect these before they could be sat on. We also had to wash the cushion covers. • The wooden floors throughout downstairs had not been hoovered or mopped, and were very much showing signs of the previous occupants and pet hairs. Again we had to hoover and mop these (twice) ourselves before starting our holiday. • The rug in the lounge was filthy and strongly smelt of dog. After trying to hoover and clean this ourselves, we had to roll it up and leave it by the back door for the duration of our stay. • Bin bags had not been placed in the bins downstairs. • Overflowing rubbish by outside bin. • Stained bed sheets in the twin room as well as grit on top of the duvets, which included a piece of toenail. We had to strip the beds and wash/tumble dry the sheets. The cottage itself was nicely decorated and in a good location, we were unable to park outside the property on several occasions, so we parked down a side street further down the road. We would not recommend this property or stay again.

Well equipped but the parking was difficult & we were not allowed to use the back garden if we had taken the dogs this would have been a problem as there was only a very small enclosed area for them to use & the grandsons were disappointed they couldn't use it as it was apparently "unsafe" the TV signal was bad too on most channels but overall a very good equipped cottage we were surprised there wasn't any facilities for recycling either. The local tea rooms have fantastic views so a visit is a must & the beaches are lovely we would love to visit the island again but would find somewhere that had parking facilities but we enjoyed ourselves for the week Thank you

we stayed in may 2016. This is a lovely house very well equiped. The house was impecable clean and it had all we needed. Location is perfect it is 10/ 20 min drive to main areas for eating and supermarket. the only comment i would make and this is for the benefit of the owner to follow up with the house keeping. We found one towell was left from prior hosts hanging behind the bathroom door it was not a problem but i think they forgot to check and put it in the washing. Also no complimentary coffee was left a bit disappointing when reading other reviews treats were left for dogs. I would ask the keepers to empty the hoover each time they use it and to wash the filter because the house was very clean but when i hoovered the living room it started to smell of dog hair ( coming from the hoover). Apart form these petty comments we loved the place we would stay again and recommend it anyone to stay it is a lovely place, where like at home everything works perfectly, providing wifi is nice a touch considering there is no mobile reception in the area and also no phone line to do outcomming calls. the instructions on how everything works were excellent. thanks

We had a lovely time at Sea View, the cottage was perfect for our family of 2 adults, a 2 year old and 6 year old. Great care had been taken to ensure our stay was comfortable including all the important little things like hand soap, washing up liquid and dish washer tablets as well as a wonderful selection of Tea and Coffee. A Lovely welcome basket too. There was a great supply of DVD's, games and even a few toys. The views were amazing and the holiday overall was really enjoyable. We will definitely be coming back in the future.
