Very spacious with a good size garden and very clean though an update is MUCH needed, glorious beaches within a short drive but thats it, nothing locally to eat or shop so make sure you take the basics and anything else you might need for breakfast etc as theres nothing nearby to nip to if you forget

Anne and Michael who own Seaspray are lovely and were really welcoming when we arrived. Unfortunately the place itself is very tired and well overdue for a refurbishment. The heating wasn't working properly when we arrived (Michael had lit a fire for us and apologised for the cold but we needed 2 duvets on the bed to keep warm) Then the kitchen tap broke so we had no running cold water. There were numerous lights not working and neither was the heater in the bathroom. The bathroom is extremely tired and shower looked very uninviting with mould around the bottom etc. There were various cupboards with handles hanging off or missing. The bed was very uncomfortable with a thin mattress through which you could feel every spring. There were no cushions in the lounge so sitting on the sofas wasn't very comfortable. Overall the place is extremely basic and not what I would call homely at all. It's a shame as the location itself is lovely and peaceful with a nice sea view so if a bit of money was spent on the property it would be great. As I say, the owners are super and very helpful but we wouldn't rebook unless the place had a complete make over.

We had a lovely time at Seaspray. When you reach Bunmahon with the directions follow the signs for the L3202 to Stradbally until you see Copper Coast Bed & Breakfast. Ann and Michael gave us a fantastic welcome and made sure we were OK and if there was anything we needed we only had to ask. The cottage itself is very spacious and comfortable with plenty of space inside and out for kids to run around. In some cottages we have stayed the shower is barely an add on with a trickle, not this one, it is awesome. Good kitchen facilities and utility room if you need it. One review said the roads were dangerous but they are country roads so if you are expecting dual carriageway everywhere at 70 mph then this isn't the place for you. If you want a quiet place out of the way to relax then I would give this 11/10. The view is great from the kitchen and the village is very scenic with a good few beaches around. The only reason we wouldn't stay here again is the location (a bit of driving is required), owners are great, facilities are great and the cottage is really spacious and comfortable.
