We had a very happy stay in Seashells. The provision of parking scratchcards was very thoughtful. Great views across to the abbey from the upstairs windows. The kitchen taps need some attention, and both showers looked tired. Powershowers would help with the water flow. The lack of Wifi and poor TV channel choice might be a problem for some families. We would still recommend Seashells as a good holiday cottage.

Lovely place to stay nice location, a lot of things close by and easy to get to. Only downside was the parking, we saw various complaints about this in the visitors book, we had a few occasions where we were driving around to find a parking space. I hope the council sort this out.

This was a most enjoyable break: with so much to see and do there was not enough hours in the day. A return visit is a must to continue what we started. The external greeting from the cottage was a little disappointing on arrival: the windows and front door had been heavily visited by the seagulls and it was visible to see that the windows had not been cleaned for the start of the season. The disappointment continued with the windows inside too as they had visibly not been cleaned for the season either, for example heavily cobwebbed in the corners. However, the overall look and acceptance of cleanliness was a little under par with regards to the fridge and staircase. But, in general the cottage was pleasing to the eye and comfortable. However there wasn't a blind in the sky light in the attic bedroom which caused early morning problems. Their was some confusion over the provision of the towel arrangement: this was soon sorted after a phone call and was rectified, so I was impressed with this service. All kitchen equipment worked well and efficiently and the hot water was ready to go on arrival too. Therefore adding to the overall comfort to the stay. I would stay again as it is well located and in general a lovely well thought out design: creating a good utilization of the cottage space. Yes lovely cottage in general.
