We hope to say at Seascape again. We really like Ramsgate, the cottage is very comfortable, (the bed is massive and the mattress is one of the best I’ve ever slept on), but really this place is about the view. The windows are huge and the sea takes up all of it. We spent hours watching it.

Perfect if you enjoy peace & quiet, fantastic Seaview/waves lulling you, or indeed for active dog-walkers. It is a very elegant attractive cottage, with the entire wall facing the sea having originally been a massive Victorian shop front - it is all glass. Thankfully, you can open all the windows. We took our small cockapoo in early April. He was a bit miffed when we sometimes preferred to sit upstairs for the fantastic view (dogs not allowed upstairs in the bedroom) so sometimes we took it in turn. Downstairs is lovely anyway. All very clean. The owner and the lady who lives next door and looks after the place are both really nice. As we used the dishwasher it would have perhaps been handy to have a few more plates and mugs to fill the dishwasher before turning it on. TVs both downstairs and upstairs. Good broadband wifi. We only had two full days . We loved walking along the beach promenade away from Ramsgate (the cottage is right on the edge of Ramsgate) and then up the massive stone steps to the country park, tea & cakes at the King George VI Memorial Conservatory (seats mainly outside in the little garden, so only open in good weather). There is also a cafe kiosk with outside seats near the park entrance. Walking beyond the park is very pleasant at the top of the cliffs. Then there is another small beach with toilets. Another day we drove to Joss Bay (large carpark - in early April we were able to avoid paying by parking in a small road with free parking bays) and then walked at top of cliffs towards Botany Bay, stopping midway for a good lunch at a clifftop pub. Dogs only allowed outside at this pub. But if we'd pressed on to the attractive hotel at Botany Bay itself we could have eaten in a special room for dog-walkers. Botany Bay is very picturesque and many photos taken. We had a good supper on the way back - though this time it was a little chilly sitting outside in the early evening. Back at the cottage we found the outside hose-pipe useful for the dog. Would recommend.

Lovely place, sea on doorstep brilliant, the tunnels were unforgettable, the house was different, beautifully decorated and the rooms large with really comfortable chairs, all you needed for the perfect holiday celebrating our golden wedding ann🌝. A special thank you to Chantelle for being helpful when cooker went wrong. Our dog Milly 12yrs loved it only short walk to beach, suited her her.

Fantastic place to stay Furniture is a bit dated, seating is mainly conservatory furniture. We could not get the radiators to work upstairs and the boiler cut out a couple of times, which affected the hot water, easily rectified These are just a couple of things we picked up on but would not stop us staying in the future

Just perfect!! - spacious & well decked out rooms, great quality furnishings & fittings throughout and an amazing location. Quiet and peaceful except of course for the lovely sound of the lapping waves & gulls - can't recommend highly enough & look forward to a return visit sometime next year.

stayed with my elderly mother, we had everything we could need around us, stunning views just across the road. good parking, very comfortable, toilet up stairs and down which was a good plus. internet wasn't reliable though. and a lovely garden table and chair would have been nice. and possibly a garden gate as I wanted to keep the door open to the property when it was hot and dog wanted to lay out in the small front garden. but I needed to keep him on the lead. having said I will be going back and would take some comfortable garden chairs. and maybe a child gate that I can put in the garden. my mum and I loved it here and will be booking again x
