A little disappointed initially regarding the old fashioned interior. I would love to take out the wall that divides the two downstairs rooms would be a huge improvement to the space and darkness of the kitchen dining room. Having said that the close proximity to the sea was wonderful sitting up in bed in the morning watching the sea was sublime! Everything supplied was in good condition just a bit dated. I met the owner who was really lovely, I would come back again.

Stayed here three times now. This house is a bit old fashioned but the location is brilliant. Parking is a bit tight but a lot of Cornish cottages don't have any at all. New mattress in the double room this year. Great improvement. Love coming back here.

Seahorse Cottage is a quaint little place. It had everything that we needed, and the place was spotless and the cream tea on arrival was lovely. There were plenty of beautiful places to visit, nearby. Lands End and the farm on site were well worth a visit, especially if you have children where they get to meet the pirate and see his barrel of treasure. Another nice place to visit is the Merick Theatre and again well worth the visit. The pub in the village and the hotel served delicious food, although it may be handy to pop in and book a table at any time, and if you change your mind, if you are out for the day you can always phone them up to cancel. What better way to start the day than sit in the front garden with a cup of tea and watch the dolphins playing in the sea a few yards away. The only place that we can say was very disappointing was Penzance. Other than that we enjoyed our visit to many places in the area.
