Castle View is a beautiful property, it is extremely comfortable and welcoming. The views and surrounding walks are stunning. We booked this cottage for a family celebration weekend and wanted somewhere we could all relax and spend time together. We all thouroughly enjoyed our break and are eager to re-book.

Superb accommodation, will definitely return. Very spacious with every facility - very comfortable beds, excellent showers, great views. We highly recommend this property. Jayne was extremely helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble.

We had a fantastic stay at Castle View. The cottage is beautiful and spacious and the views are stunning. It was perfect for 2 families and the dog had a great time. The surrounding countryside was lovely for walks and spotting wildlife. The property and grounds were perfectly maintained and the children's play area was brilliant. We went in November and the weather was very cold and windy, the cottage though was lovely and warm with underfloor heating and log burner. The logs were free so we had a fire every night. The only slight negative is that you needed a car to get to the local shops and pubs/cafes, which all served excellent food. We would definitely go back and recommend to others, lovely place.

There were a few minor issues, one or two pieces of furniture had perhaps seen better days. But there was nothing about the property which would stop us coming again. We actually stayed in The Cart Shed last year so this was really a return visit. Weather and cliff top walk amazing.

we were wowed from the moment we walked in. We had the most amazing holiday as a mixed family group. Plenty of space for the children and a super enclosed garden with sea views. A play park which was well equipped and fun. There was a lot of wildlife - deer in the early morning; birds of all sorts and at dusk there was the barn owls. There was everything we needed at Castle View and more. Our only regret was having to come home.

A great place....for family and our two dogs who loved the proximity of open fields. Downside....a persistent odour from the nearby septic tank.

We had wonderful sea views with a spacious and comfortable lounge. One of us had some mobility problems, so being all on one level with no steps or stairs was very important. Two of the bedrooms also had sea views. The double rooms were a little on the small side but ensuites in both these rooms was a real bonus. All in all, a lovely place for anyone wanting to relax in comfort.

We all found the accommodation to be very well equipped with all the necessaries, location was perfect with easy reach of beeches especially for the two dogs Bramble the Springer & Bella the Staffy .There are a number of cottages within the complex ours being Castle View 8 birth which had great views out to sea, only downside we wished the cottage had a hoover and basic cleaning products just so we could keep the place a little more like home especially with two sand covered dogs to contend with, sockets in the bedrooms were awkward to access (behind head boards) and we wished the fence around the back garden had some mesh to keep the dogs contained (open style wooden fence) but overall we loved the place and wouldn't hesitate to come back, highly recommended. The cottage was finished nicely and was a really pleasant place to be. The views out to the sea were really stunning and there were some lovely walks close by. I have given a lower score for the cleanliness, as there were dog hairs on the sofa and rug in the lounge. We also found some dog mess and a bone in the garden.
