These four apartments (NM15, 14426, 17265 & NM1404) have been created from the picturesque old station house at Brompton by Sawdon that was on the Scarborough to Pickering Line; with views across the cricket pitch to the Yorkshire Wolds. Ideal for a diverse holiday, they are close to both the North York Moors National Park and the glorious Heritage coastline. There is much to see and do. Walk along the cliff tops on the Cleveland Way, visit the picturesque coastal villages and historic Whitby; enjoy the attractions of Scarborough, 8 miles away, or travel on the North Yorks Moors Steam Railway from Pickering, 8 miles away. The village itself has a famous church, Wordsworth was married here. The apartments face south and open onto a beautiful, landscaped garden with a barbecue area, which is the perfect place to relax after a day’s exploration. Shops and excellent tea rooms are just a short walk away. Pub 2 miles.

    We stayed at the cottage in July this year and had one of the most relaxing and peaceful weeks we've ever had on a holiday. The location is great - central for both coast and moors. The owner gave us a lovely welcome and was happy for our two sons to play football in the adjoining cricket ground - which they loved. The garden at the property is absolutely beautiful - very therapeutic - we had a picnic table to sit at right outside our door and we loved watching all the different birds on the bird table. There is a shared shed containing washing machine, ironing board, peg bag, etc. which was very useful. We will definitely book to stay at this property again and I am so looking forward to going back for another chilled out break - just perfect!

    Apartment was a little outdated, however the location was fantastic, the surroundings were beautiful and the owners were very helpful and welcoming

    The cottage was warm, clean and comfortable and in a superb location for visiting the Yorkshire Moors, Wolds and coast. The property would probably benefit from a little updating in the kitchen but overall a lovely place to stay. After a day of exploring the lovely countryside the beautiful garden was a pleasure to sit in and relax.

    Overall a very nice place to stay. Large garden (and cricket pitch) so the kids can run around. Likelihood of meeting other guest with children, our’s (and their’s) have other kid to play with. Excellent felicities; smart TV, Wifi, BBQ pit (and cooking tools) shared (with other guests) washing machine & tumble dryer. Complimentary tea & coffee on arrival, household cleaning products there (bleach, fly killer, oven gloves, tea towel, washing-up liquid, toilet roll etc)

    Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to visiting again. Lovely village location within easy reach of many towns and attractions. Accomodation is comfortable clean and warm, equipped with everything we needed during our stay.
