A fabulous holiday from the start. A beautiful barn which exceeded all of our expectations, the stunning location of Port Isaac which is so peaceful. You can instantly fall into a relaxing holiday with the friendly village life, plenty of pubs and restaurants and if you are lucky the famous Fishermen friends on a Friday night. Simply stunning

Saundry's Barn was lovely and cosy, ideally located in Port Isaac, very picturesque and pretty landscape, great for long walks along the coast, lots of hills and steps, not so sure about the parking arrangement , the descriptions implies that the allocated parking is in the same street (300 yards away as the crow flies, but not obvious to find) this should have been made very clear when booking.

Our third visit to Saundry's Barn. Love coming to this place out of season, when it's so quiet. Get to see the real Port Isaac and it's people and experience the harbour in bad weather! Much praise has been lavished on the barn and its location and after returning for a third time we can honestly say its as good as the first time! The high standards of cleanliness have been maintained and with the new furbished Co op (has everything you need!) at the top of the lane, you don't even have to leave the harbour unless you need a signal for your phone! The communication from Mr Knight was very good. He even sent a letter to us to inform us he would not be around during our stay but gave us details of alternative contact. If we could have one wish, it would be for WiFi or Landline - just needed to touch base with elderly parents and the kids!

Our second stay in this lovely barn conversion. It is immaculacy kept and very clean and comfortable. The owner is extremely helpful and on-hand if you need anything. Very easy with dogs and with the added benefit of a parking space close by. Will definitely stay there again.

For those staying on Cornwall's north coast this is an ideal location. The compact barn conversion is perfect for a couple and provides all facilities. The barn is clean and functional and there is a sea and cliff view from one of the windows. There is a valuable car park space about 400 yards from the barn. The hills in Port Isaac are steep and so perhaps not a location for the unfit or infirm. The location can become crowded in season and local prices for food are higher than average, some blame being due to the filming of the Doc Martin TV series in the area perhaps? Overall the barn is highly recommended.

The barn was advertised as sleeping 4 but clearly it was ready for two people. The second bed is a sofa bed with no blinds in the skylight making it uncomfortable to use. Very disappointing.
