Detached cottage on the banks of Loch Long and the Firth of Clyde near Dunoon

Sanna is a delightful detached cottage located in the hamlet of Ardentinny on the banks of Loch Long and the Firth of Clyde, near Dunoon.  This stone built self catering cottage was formally the old village hall dating back to the late 1800’s. Now tastefully renovated into comfortable holiday accommodation for a couple, the cottage has wooden floors throughout, a double bedroom with en-suite facilities and a spacious open plan living space with kitchen, dining and seating area. There is also a single chair in the lounge area which converts into a single bed to provide additional sleeping space. The cottage also has its own enclosed gravel garden area and off street parking. Ardentinny is situated within Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park and next to Argyll Forest which offers numerous forest tracks, marked walks and cycleways within this area, all easily accessible and right on your doorstep. The cottage has the additional benefit that it is only a short walk (200 yards) to gain access to the seafront where you can walk, fish, launch a canoe or just rest on the rocks, relax and enjoy the view. Bar and restaurant 50 yards.

The property is all on ground floor level, has electric central heating and comprises:

A beautiful cottage in a stunning location. It was cosy warm and very comfortable with everything you needed. The area was peaceful with lovely walks and friendly people. Sandra the owner couldn't have been more helpful. They accept dogs; we don't have one and you wouldn't have known there had been a couple and their dog in before us. The cottage was cosy warm and welcoming with everything you needed. Lovely comfy bed I didn't want to go home

Lovely warm and cosy cottage. Friendly owner who knows the area including the best places to eat and visit. Enclosed garden with chairs and low table which would be lovely in the summer. Enclosed garden which is ideal for dogs, and there are several local walks through woodland and alongside the loch for them to enjoy. Torches were also available - an absolute godsend for the after tea dog walk in March! The Ardentinny bar and bistro directly opposite the cottage is excellent for food and has a fabulous view from the restaurant.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Senna cottage. It's in a stunning location. Also the owner is a very kind lady. The cottage itself is in the small hamlet of Ardentinny. It is a bit remote. However for holiday makers who enjoy beautiful walks in an awesome location it is ideal.

The best dog friendly place we've stayed, clean, friendly people who own it, close to beach & loch, even "doggie treats" when we arrived. Would definitely stay again
