Beautiful location to get away from the stresses of modern life. Lovely and cosy converted pig shed with charming decor. Only criticism is the very squeaky bed!

Set in amazing countryside. Hosts very congenial. Everything you need for a relaxing stay. Very cosy and quiet. The walk to duck pool beach is a great way to start of one of the many walks straight from the cottage. Highly recommend the Bush Inn at Morenstow. Wouldn't hesitate to book this cottage again.

I could not fault the accommodation at all. The four poster bed was a nice touch

Orchard Close is part of a working farm set in the heart of beautiful Cornish countryside. The cottage sits alongside a public footpath which leads to the National Trust's outstanding Duckpool beach and links with the coastal path network. Orchard Close is fairly well equipped and provides a comfortable stay for those looking for a complete getaway.

What a lovely little cottage in a beautiful tranquil setting. Stunning views from the front door and balcony, lots of birds for avid bird watchers. Located only a mile and half walk to the beach at duckpool. We went there 3 times during our week's stay, completing the coastal path walk once. We recommend doing the is stunning scenery along the coast! The owners sue and her husband are a lovely welcoming couple. We had a great time, so did our dog! we will be back, thank you.

We booked this cottage looking for peace and quiet, and thats what we got. A beautiful cottage in a stunning location. A cream tea on arrival was a lovely thought and the owner is a genuinely great chap.

Having been recommended this cottage by friends, we were quite disappointed with our stay. Whilst the setting of this cottage is lovely, surrounded by fields, a woodland and a walk down to a nearby beach, the cottage itself is in need of a bit of TLC. The blind and grouting round the tiles in the bathroom were covered in mould and the curtains in all rooms had stains on them. The kitchen had limited utensils and pans for cooking and there was no bowl in the cupboard so that we could have cereal for breakfast. The place has a very musty smell to it and unfortunately several of the springs in the mattress have gone not making it very comfortable for a good nights sleep. Overall the place just really needs a good clean and a bit of an update. Such a shame as the setting is lovely.

Lovely little private cottage at a secluded farm, the views are amazing and pictures cannot do it justice. We received a warm welcome and some fresh baked scones on arrival (which were delicious). The owners were very friendly, and always on hand but left us to ourselves. The roads immediately around the farm are all single track, with a few passing places but not too busy. There are plenty of places to visit within a reasonable drive, and we did a lot of walking along the public paths (again views are excellent) and Duckpool (secluded beach) is just 1.5 miles from the cottage. We stayed for 4 nights and didn't want to leave!

We had a perfect long wknd stay. Fantastic friendly welcome complete with milk, and cream scones. Location for us was idyllic being both secluded, quiet and fantastic countryside views. The local pubs are welcoming and serve great food. Its a great location to explore coastal routes and all Cornwall has to offer.
