It's a sweet cottage in a great village. The location is quiet but conveniently close to village amenities and the river. The cottage is fairly well equipped and clean, and it has a courtyard garden. Two negative points that would put me off staying again are the staircase, which isn't really suitable for a letting property (too steep and narrow with no bannister) and there's nowhere to park a car. The lane outside is very narrow and you have to park quite a long way away. The lounge furniture is not a sensible choice for such a tiny room (too big and ornate).

Great little cottage, steep but manageable stairs. Everything went well, really interesting area with some good pubs and restaurants nearby. Lots to see and do.

We had a lovely stay at Sailmakers Cottage. The property has everything you need for a comfortable stay however the hair dryer has low power and the Internet is 4G rather then broadband and needed topping up which I could have probably organized had I contacted the owner or caretaker but didn't bother as the Olde Albion pub on the waterfront has excellent wifi, a warm reception and excellent ales...!
