Shower too low, my son couldn't use it. Stairs very steep i had to crawl up them and my son had to go up bent over and rail over top of stairs he had to double up to get under. Although it did say they were steep i didn't expect that steep or narrow. People should be told if you're over about5'6" you will have to kneel in shower and if you're over 60 and a bit large forget about this cottage. The beds were comfortable and it was clean but we were glad to leave.

    Response from: Administrator

Response on behalf of the owner; The stairs are steep but this is mentioned and can clearly be seen in the photographs of the cottage so that infirm people do not book, although there is a hand rail if necessary. With regard to the other comment, I lived in this cottage, I am 5' 6" and I certainly do not need to kneel in the shower, neither did my 6' tall husband. The shower is set at a completely normal height. I would ask that people thinking of booking the cottage look at the photographs and to disregard the comment posted.

The cottage was lovely with an extremely good welcome pack. We would not go again as we didn't particularly like the area it was in and also it was very difficult for 3 people to eat at the table. Although the cottage was very well furnished perhaps a few less pieces would have made life easier.
