We loved this holiday! great location, and Colin and Kathryn were both so friendly and helpful. Everything we needed for a lovely family holiday with our 2 kids aged 7 and 10.

A very pleasant week spent in quiet, attractive surroundings. The owners were friendly and helpful and the adjacent garden centre, cafe and farm shop were a great bonus. Having a bus stop on the doorstep meant visits to Brighton were hassle free.

Nicely appointed conversion set in a secluded, tranquil, yet easily accessible location. I would definitely recommend this to friends. Comfort and equipment would have scored 10 if there had been a designated cupboard to store food.

Lovely place, well equipped. Just that being on a main road couldn't walk to the local pub and had to drive even just to take the dog out for a short walk. Also, garden could do with the wire netting extending the entire height of the fence rather than just half way up to give us peace of mind when the dog was in the garden. Having a big dog this was a worry. Staff and owners couldn't have been more helpful.

This was our third stay at Rushfieldsbarn mainly because of the location, one level (suitable for elderly relative) and being very dog friendly. However the barn needs updating, especially the plumbing (leaking/odd taps and blocked shower head) and the same rickety chest of draws in both bedrooms. Cleanliness was good except for the same old black mould around all of the windows and doors. The Garden Center is great and the owners and staff are very helpful but it is time to take notice of the reviews.
