Fantastic cottage. Very clean and beds were extremely comfortable. Attic room and games room great for young children. Only small downside was no dishwasher but because downstairs was open plan you could still be involved with family fun whilst cleaning dishes!! Great location. In easy reach of main attractions in Peak District but close enough to chesterfield for food shops and wet days out. Owners on site but did not intrude at all. Fabulous holiday 😀

The cottage was set in a rural location. Very welcoming owner who showed us the cottage. It was difficult to find in the dark so a sign outside may be useful? Very clean and tidy. Comfy beds and clean bedding. Some practical changes could be that there is an extra chair at the table as we were a party of 5 and there were 4 chairs. Blinds on the windows upstairs. A warning for the log burner with regards to the handle getting hot and a guard for safety. Otherwise the cottage is a superb place with access to Baslow and Chatsworth house. Would recommend this place as the owner made you need feel very welcome. Thankyou.

Fantastic stay in this lovely cottage. Plenty of room, constantly warm and lovely to return to after long walks. Very well appointed with lots of unexpected extra comforts and a quality welcome pack of groceries including wine. Only additional comforts would have been a hair dryer and extra bedding as the configuration wasn't quite right for us. Otherwise absolutely perfect!
