Large, spacious cottage in a quiet area. Generally very good although initially had problems with cold water supply, contacted owners who managed to contact a local neighbour/handyman -despite being Easter Sunday he attended and was able to sort. Then hot water supply stopped the next day but owners on this occasion managed to get a plumber in on Easter Monday and this was again sorted(air lock). These issues were dealt with promptly and thereafter there were no problems.wi fi was always available.

It was the brown water that's put us off returning and no wifi , free view tv and the DVD didn't work

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you for your comments. Regarding the water, it is a private supply which is filtered and undergoes UV treatment and conforms to current testing regulations. The colouring comes from the source of the spring which rises through peat lands. I can confirm the TV and DVD are in working order and we do not advertise wifi and feel we make this clear in the property details.

Beautiful cottage in a wonderful setting. So peaceful and quiet. Lovely large kitchen, Dad & myself loved the log fires. The beds were very, very comfortable in each of the double rooms. Lovely to have 2 bathrooms. Our 2 Cavalier King Charles dogs had a great time exploring in the woods and the fields. They had the freedom of all the large garden and drive. Would not hesitate to purchase this property if it ever became available to make our permanent home.!! We would just mention the front room furniture was not overly comfortable and broadband would of been helpful to search for places of interest further afield. Grantown on Spey was a lovely welcoming town, we loved the homemade apple pies and rhubarb pies from the bakery.
