Lovely spacious cottage with large gardens in very beautiful surroundings. Lots to see and do locally and all within easy reach of the cottage. The location has everything from walks, water sports, fantastic scenery, beaches close by and of course lots of distilleries (which are great to visit whether you're a whiskey lover or not). A great place for a lively or relaxing holiday.

Fantastic location and beautiful cottage. So many amazing walks and plenty of wildlife. The only negative was that the there was no pub within one mile which was one of our search criteria, however we still highly recommend this cottage and would definately stay again.

Fantastic cottage in beautiful area. Dogs loved the freedom of all the land. No noise other than the sounds of birds. Deer in the field. Great places nearby to visit, especially Findhorn. Will definitely be booking again next year.

We all really enjoyed staying at Rowanlea. The cottage is really well furnished, comfy and well equipped. The beds are all comfortable , which is not always the case at many cottages we've stayed at. The cottage is very spacious and there is plenty of room for coats and shoes in the utility room. The wood burning stoves kept the cottage lovely, warm and cosy. The kids and the dog loved the freedom of the garden and the walk across the field to the woods at the back. So many places nearby for walks, bike rides etc. We all had a lovely time at Rowanlea - it's a real credit to the owners and in a lovely part of the world.
