Rowan Tree was a lovely cottage with lots of character and little perks. Though the cottage is located on the main road into Skye, the cottage itself is set back away from it and in your own little isolated bubble. We had some good Scottish rain when we were there, and the stream that runs at the back of the cottage became a miniature river rapid that amused our 4 year old. The cottage is warm and welcoming and extremely well kept, with many thoughtful activities for whoever stays there. We were unable to use the BBQ hut to the best of its ability due to us having a newborn, but it is well equipped and cosy inside. The welcome pack was extremely generous and appreciated. All in all, Rowan Tree makes the perfect holiday cottage and base for couples, and families alike.

Wonderful holiday! We spent a week here for our honeymoon and just loved it. The cottage was fantastic - beautifully decorated, cosy, spotlessly clean and well equipped. The garden was idyllic, we enjoyed watching the many garden birds that visited every day and as the weather was kind to us during our stay, we had great use of the various outdoor seating areas. The location was also superb, close to Broadford for shops and pubs etc yet still very quiet and we had plenty of privacy. We felt it was a great base for exploring the island. Would definitely love to go back to Rowan Tree Cottage again.

Had a lovely time here. The cottage was well equipped, cosy and had everything we needed. A very generous welcome pack was left for us. The local Co-op was also excellent. Out with the owner's control was the Skye weather but no worries there. Some beautiful weather to enhance the stunning scenery. Would we go back? You bet!! Already booked the cottage for next year

Very comfortable cottage in beautiful rural setting, but close enough to village for eating out, shops and other amenities.
