Pleasantly surprised at the facilities in Bellingham so we could walk to all we needed. As previously stated in several reviews the property really does require some garden maintenance - in particular, the steps to the front door are very overgrown and the security light is not operational, making access after dark rather difficult. We learned to leave the lights on before going out ! The cottage itself is small and probably ready for some updates but had all we required for our stay and the bed was very comfortable. A package in the fridge on our arrival, with fresh bacon, sausage and eggs was a nice touch. The owner is a very nice helpful lady and we would stay there again if in the area. Don't miss the old station information centre and little museum which is literally just around the corner - also the wonderful railway carriage café there.

A lovely place that requires a bit of TLC and the trees by the front entrance cutting back.
