From a touch of luxury to characterful heritage, experience one of our truly inspiring holiday properties.

Comfortably refurbished, this is a fantastic base for a relaxing break or active holiday, many attractions can be found nearby.

Lying peacefully on the banks of the glistening River Teifi within extensive grounds and on a 91-acre working farm, these traditional, Welsh barn conversions (refs JUK, JUL, OAM and OFA) have been converted to a very good standard and offer a perfect base for a family or couples looking to explore the dramatic coastline and rugged mountains of west Wales. Conveniently located just 2 miles away from the charming, market town of Cardigan, Rosehill Farm is situated well off the beaten track and is surrounded by rolling terrain where horses, goats and lambs call home. On the approach to the farm, guests will be greeted with spectacular views of the River Teifi, which is famously renowned for its freshwater salmon and trout fishing, and superb water based activities including kayaking and sailing. Each cottage has been sympathetically restored to uncover much of its original charm and character, including exposed beams and stone walls, and traditional wood-burning stoves have been added to provide a wonderful ambience for those cosy nights in. Outside, guests can relax on their own private patio area, perfect for unwinding after a busy day’s adventure whilst watching the red kites and peregrine falcons soar over the magnificent scenery.
Close to the iconic Pembrokeshire National Park, guests can ramble the majestic Preseli Hills and discover picturesque walks and ancient monuments, including the Bronze Age burial chamber of Pentre Ifan Dolmen, which stands beautifully in rugged terrain. The nearby market towns of Cardigan, Newcastle Emlyn and Carmarthen are all rich with Welsh culture and offer a selection of traditional pubs, boutique and antique gift shops, along with some restaurants waiting to be explored. The magnificent coastline is just a short drive away and is home to golden beaches, horseshoe coves and the pretty coastal towns of Newport, New Quay and Aberaeron, which are set in tranquil fishing harbours where bottlenose dolphins and seals can be spotted on a clear day. For an interesting day out, take a scenic drive to Britain’s smallest city of St David’s and discover its 12th-century cathedral and medieval ruins of Bishops’s Palace, or take a sea safari around the off-shore island of Ramsey, cruising close to seabirds, seals and the occasional dolphin. Shops and pub 2 miles.

Galleried open-plan modern fitted kitchen/dining room with steps down to living room with wood-burning stove, doors to patio and river views. Conservatory. Double bedroom with en-suite shower room and toilet. First floor (sloping ceilings throughout): Three spacious bedrooms; one double and two twin, one with extra 2ft 6in bed (for +1). Good long weekend. Good clean barn, lots of seating and good beds. Great location very quite and peaceful. But very cold- had electric heaters but only a few worked, logs were provided but didn't last the weekend - really could do with central heating or better electric heater.

The cottage was lovely but could be improved easily with a few additional items in the kitchen (mugs which are larger than a tea-cup) water glasses larger pans etc. Since the accommodation is for up to 8 adults there should be sufficient crockery etc to accommodate those numbers. The location was good too and information which was available there was very helpful. We were told that there was Wifi but this was not the case and was disappointing.

We enjoyed staying here, the barn was clean & comfortable. The space itself was perfect for our 2 families with Young children, allowing for us each family to have exclusive use of a toilet, etc. the area has lots to offer and there is a good amount of info provided. We Will definately be back.
