We enjoyed Rose Cottage for your short break. It was warm and cozy but a bit loud with road traffic and the pub across the street.

The cottage is very conveniently situated for town, castle and harbour. It is on a fairly busy road so can be noisy. Parking for a small car is available, but access is quite tricky.

Rose Cottage is a great place to stay in Conwy, and it feels like a proper home. Regardless of first impressions, it IS in fact physically possible to park in the backyard, just aim once, then back up and aim again, making sure there is no one on the pavement outside the pub, and you will be fine. The kitchen is kindof like your auntie's, in that it doesn't have all the things you use at home in your city flat, but that's probably why you are coming to Wales anyways, so who cares? Who want's a wok, really? Only negatives are seagull noise (well that's Conwy), and some mysterious squeaking noises which one of the party took as a sign of a medieval "haunted" past. Take that as you like, whether it be inspired imagination from living in a truly marvellous historic location for a week, or signs of an actual spooky history. I'm sure you won't be displeased regardless. Summary: loved the place.
