What a delight, the best cottage we have ever stayed in, a home from home. (at least what I would like my home to be, without all the clutter and toys) It was like a show home but with all you would need to make it comfortable. We stayed in more than normal because we loved the house so much. Very dog friendly with a utility sink for washing off after long walks. Hosts very friendly and helpful. Peace and quiet. Not a lot close by to visit except for lots of airbases (We visited lots and recommend the Aviation museum) but further afield lots to see. Highly recommend.

The cottage was perfect for us, we were in Lincolnshire visiting family so we needed something comfortable for 4-5 adults and a dog, this cottage is well equipped and homely. It’s been decorated lovely too. We would definitely stay again if available.

Cosy, well equipped cottage with open fire and log stove, owners next door friendly and helpful. Good supply of legs and coal left. Enclosed rear garden is shared with the owners safe for dogs apart from where owners left gate open. Nice walks from cottage.

We had an excellent stay at "Rose Cottage" and Karen & Darren could not have been more helpful. Our 2 Labradors soon mad friends with Karen & Darrens dogs. The first cottage we have stayed at with a full sized TV too. The location was handy as a base to explore the local area although Hemswell is a very quiet and sleepy place which does in effect dictate the pace of your stay. A very relaxing location and one of the best cottages we have stayed at. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants relaxing break.

We loved this cottage. In winter with an open fire AND a log burning stove it could be a lovely place to spend time. Close to Lincoln which we would definitely visit again.

Lovely cottage in a wonderful setting, Darren and Karen were perfect hosts and the welcome pack was a lovely touch and a pleasant surprise. The cottage has everything that you could need, it's in a central location to explore the area although shops and pubs are a short drive away.

The cottage is adjoining the owners property with a very large shared garden. Whilst the garden is shared, they are large enough not to cause any issues The owners are a very friendly couple with 2 playful dogs, that got on well with our own dogs. The village is very quite with no shops, pubs, etc. However there is a Spar and Co-op 5 miles away. The cottage is very cosy with all amenities you would expect. Wi-fi is currently only available in the dining room and there is limited to no phone signal inside, very good for a peaceful rest. I would recommend this cottage for a really relaxing break.
