This cottage is lovely. My wife and I spent a long weekend at the cottage and even though the weather was a bit changeable it didn't matter (but what do you expect in November). The cottage was warm and cosy and well equipped. The fireplace is amazing and we had fires most days. Typically you'll need a bag of logs per day. The kitchen is modern and very well equipped and the owner left a cake which was a lovely touch. There was also milk in the fridge and tea and coffee available. Most places don't have this level of detail. The bathroom has everything you need and the bedroom was cosy with a very comfortable bed. The location of the cottage is perfect as its a 10 min walk to the centre of Chipping Campden and its nice just be out of the town. We ate at Huxleys, the 8 Bells and best of all was Michaels Meditteranean Restaurant. If you like Greek food this is a must. If I was to critique the cottage I would be nit picking so I'm not going to. Overall it was a lovely weekend and the only downside to this review is that it will probably encourage more people to book the cottage which means less opportunity for us to book again in future :-)

Comfortable and cosy in this most representative area of the Cotswolds. Chipping Campden centre 10 minutes walk away with any number of eating/drinking establishments and other amenities. Idealy sited for exploring the Cotswolds on foot or by vehicle. The couple next door (Rose Cottage No. 1) were on their 19th consecutive stay!

Our stay at Rose Cottage 2 was absolutely fantastic and we will be back! The cottage itself was very well equipped and comfortable and was in a perfect location for exploring Chipping Campden as well as being an ideal base for several lovely walks. The walk to Hidcote was especially nice! We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Great cottage in a great location. From the doorstep you can walk into the lovely countryside, or into town for the pretty shops, tearooms and pubs. Nice and quiet with good facilities, the cottage is very comfortable and attractive inside.

beautiful cottage in fantastic location, it had all the amenities you could want including a very welcome Victoria sponge cake left for us by the caretaker who is very efficient, keeping Rose Cottage clean and verycomfortableChipping Camden is a lovely village which not only charm and character but also many and varied places to eat or just have a drink. Close to many other impressive villages and only 30minutes from Stratford on Avon. All the above made for a very happy and relaxing holiday.

The cottage is just like the pictures but it is not suitable for anyone with young children or anyone with mobility issues. The bathroom with the only wc is downstairs and the stairs are very narrow and steep. There is no garden to speak of except the garden to the front so unless you want to sit being overlooked by those taking photos of the cottage there is just a narrow triangle under trees at the back. The cottage is very comfortable and well equipped and clean. It is a long trek uphill from the centre of Chipping Campden so you'd mostly use a car. The bedrooms are large and the beds comfortable. The bathroom is also large but as it has the only toilet you can't really have a long soak in the bath! We did not utilise the kitchen as we ate out but it seemed well stocked with utensils etc. Linen and towels are provided which was useful as it saved purchasing single bedding which we do not own. The caretaker is very approachable and helpful and there is free wifi in the cottage. A must have since there seems to be little mobile service in the area. Chipping itself has lots of pubs and restaurants so a good base. There is a small supermarket and a butchers as well. We would not stay again because we found the bathroom issue and the steep stairs problematic, but would recommend the cottage to others who are more mobile than us.
