Really enjoyed our second stay in Rose Cottage. Very comfortable, clean and well equipped. My only comment would be that the three single mattresses are a little uncomfortable and could do with being replaced.

A lovely home in a beautiful location with all the amenities. Some of the cutlery and pots were not clean. Toll bridge is 80p, not 70p. Info on back of kitchen door needs to be updated. There are no shops in the village.

Our third visit to this cottage. Wonderful location next to the canal and easy access to Bath.

This was the third year we had stayed. Using the cottage as a base to visit bath Christmas market. It's a 10 minute drive. But is very quiet. There are several good pubs and eateries right on the doorstep. And the cottage itself is well equipped. Clean and comfortable

Great place to stay, we all really enjoyed it. Fabulous walk into Bath along the tow path.

Extremely well equipped cottage in a superb location. We particularly loved being able to walk into Bath so easily, especially since there are so many good places to eat there. Indeed, we barely used the car all week.

Lovely cottage in a wonderful for location by the river. My elderly parents loved sitting in the garden watching the canal boats.

The location is really good in terms of being picturesque and close to the canal path and the property was clean. There were some thoughtful touches ie incoming and local calls are provided. It is however still possible to hear the traffic especially at commuting times which do start really early in the morning. The owners and the cleaner were very helpful and friendly when we contacted them. We always self cater in the UK and have stayed in a lot of properties over the years, we found the furnishings at Rose Cottage to be very dated and not in terms of being in keeping with an old cottage, but rather a lot of unattractive orange pine furniture and various ornaments which were not to our taste which of course is a very personal thing however the property is not cheap (there were only 2 in our party) so our expectations were high and we were disappointed. As an example we have not seen fabric 'mop cap' style lampshades probably since the Eighties. It is a shame as the property potentially could be really lovely.

Clean, tastefully furnished and well equipped. The house was close to the canal which had a lot of interesting boats passing but was on the opposite side of the canal to the canal footpath so seemed secluded. We had some meals at the George Inn about 5 mins walk away across an old bridge. We went into Bath some days on the avon riverboat about 10mins walk away. A delightful cottage.
