wow factor cottage with ample room to spread out, very well equipped cottage with secured back yard for dogs to roam, local sewage problem was not related to cottage but did leave bad odour around kitchen door. would definitely recommend this cottage

Cottage was lovely apart from the downstairs bedroom which had very low entrance and my husband virtually knocked himself out. It also seemed damp in this room. Everything else was lovely. It was disappointing that the caretaker arrived long before the very early 10 o/c departure time and as the front door was open and we were packing up she just walked in. This meant that we left in rather a rush and were in the car and leaving at 9.45. All other aspects were excellent Marilyn

Had a lovely time in this beautiful cottage - everything we needed - could have done with a bit of cupboard space in kitchen - as full of more than enough pots! Lovely location - walks for dogs - lovely pub nearby with reasonable good quality food. Access to Norwich - lovely old streets with different shops.Great time. Could do with a new BBQ.

We rented Rose Cottage for one week beginning 21st May 2016. We had lived in Reedham for many years but left 16 years ago. We returned to refresh memories and meet old friends. Rose Cottage is a very old riverside home that has retained many of the original features including inglenook fireplaces, one of which has a robust wood burning stove. The cottage has good central heating as well. The building is old, so the walls and floor are a bit uneven, but that is the character of the house. It has a warm cosy feeling as though someone lives there. This is a very well equipped home including dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, TV, DVD player, CD player and wi-fi connection. There is also a selection of DVD’s and music CD’s to play. Be warned, the mobile telephone signal in the area is very bad and non-existent in the cottage. The kitchen has everything you could want including a Krupps coffee machine. It has more utensils than I have in my own home. Even a mixer if you want to do some baking. Everything was very clean when we arrived with coffee, tea, milk, sugar and even chocolate biscuits if you arrive late. The Ship pub is a stones throw away and serves normal “pub grub”. There is a second pub on Riverside (under renovation) but the best pub is “The Ferry Inn” which serves very good food. It is worth a visit to eat lunch or dinner and serves real beer from the local brewery. We enjoyed our stay and will return.

Such a lovely cottage! We had a very enjoyable stay here and would love to come back again for a week in the school holidays but unfortunately it's a little too pricey for us so we may return for another long weekend.

The cottage gave us a good base however we were very disappointed with the lack of some cleanliness and most definitely not impressed to find soiled mattress and pillow protectors!

Excellent location for Great Yarmouth and Norwich, dogs loved it with great dog walks. Beautiful setting so peaceful, all local people really friendly. Ann the caretaker very helpful and on hand if you required any information. A nice touch with a welcome pack. The cottage was beautiful.

Property has a lot of potential however this property requires a lot of tlc. It needs some serious attention with regards to maintenance. Hygiene standards throughout property below acceptable standards. Struggled to find a clean mug or glass. Property not hoovered. Property overall was dated. Needs a lift.

We had a 4 night stay over new year. The cottage was perfect, offering 2 adults 3 children and a dog a lovely break. Nice dog walks and the village pub over the road, which was very friendly and nice food. The cottage was well equipped and spacious and comfortable. Lots of books, games wifi and a wii. Would definitely go back!!
