Rose cottage is between other converted farm buildings down a farm track. Great location though and it is still very quiet. Small Shop in Shorwell but you are not too far from anywhere on the island really. Nice place to be based. There are steep steps to the front door and Parking is opposite the cottage but for 2 cars. The dogs loved the large secure garden. Big kitchen diner looking out to the garden enjoyed our meals there. There are Steps from kitchen to small shower/toilet room and mind your head in the bunk room as stair recess in there. Lovely big tv on the wall of the lounge. The seating in is comfortable and accommodated 6 and it is a nice cosy room. Stairs lead to bathroom and spacious Kingsize bedroom. Down steps to a lovely big twin or superking bedroom. Good bedding provided. Weather was brilliant which made a really good relaxing holiday. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Can recommend Rose Cottage and we would stay again. Thank you

What a wonderful cottage - in such an idyllic part of the Isle of Wight. The views from the cottage are stunning, with immediate access to countryside walks. So much to do, and such a lovely place to stay. Many thanks!

This was one of the loveliest cottages we have stayed in. Perfect for walking right from the doorstep. Had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. There is a local shop close by in Chale that sell anything you may need - even a fish and chip van outside on some days.

Nice location, and very well presented, would stay again. My only feedback would relate to the decor now starting to look tired, will need a freshen up. other than that, well equip and ideal for our holiday.

Great holiday cottage. Lots of extra touches that made it superb. Many thanks to Sarah who helped us with our enquires. The children loved buying the eggs from the farm next door and picking the blackberries on our walks over the back.

A very comfortable cottage in a great location. Could do with some garden chairs for sitting in the sunshine to enjoy the views. Nice secure garden for our dog to run around safely in. Plenty of space for 2 adults and 2 teenage boys, who loved the massive tv to play games on. Kitchen not as clean as we would have liked on arrival, everything else was spotless. Be aware that the cockerel next door gets up early!

We had a great time at Rose cottage, including our puppy who quickly became friend with the neighbour's adorable cocker. The cottage is really nice and well equipped and you can't ask for a more relaxing and cosy location in the middle of the farmlands! we only had a tiny issue with the heating upon arrival but the lovely owner Sarah was extremely responsive...we would definitely consider coming back .
