Fantastic view from the kitchen and lounge with large windows made it light and pleasant. The open plan living areas made it sociable for cooking and the kitchen was well equipped. The log burner made it very cosy even in the cold weather that we had which was around zero most of the week. Ideal for dogs with the utility area for bringing them in when they were wet. We stored our bikes in the woodshed which was handy.

This is a lovely little cottage in a great location; very peaceful and private, even though it's right beside the single track farm road, but there are only one or two cars a day, so no problems! To appreciate the view fully you have to be fortunate with the weather, which we were. On a clear day you can see right over to Skye and The Cuillins, it's spectacular! The cottage is very warm and comfortable and the kitchen is a good size with what looked like a new fridge freezer and electric cooker. I think the cottage is better suited for two adults rather than four or a family with children because the second bedroom and bathroom are quite small and the bathroom could do with an update. The back door leads into a utility room, excellent if you have wet dogs! The garden is enclosed and safe for children and dogs although the wooden fence at the front gate is not totally dog proof if you have a small dog like we did. The Glenuig Inn is a good 20 minute walk and we only visited once for a drink, agreeing that the food prices did seem rather expensive and choosing not to eat there. Plenty of walks from the door but lots of sheep and red deer so you must keep dogs under control. The fenced community land up the road is a good area to let the dogs run free.

Loved it -didn't want to leave. Wish we had done a bit more research before we went - no internet or phone signal! Will no for next time. Will definitely be back. Most beautiful place.

Comfortable cottage, lovely views. Met owner very friendly & helpful not at all intrusive. Everything one needed but perhaps a little more home making items would add to the coziness. Genourous wood supply & heating. Would stay again.

We really liked this cottage, it is cosy warm and welcoming and the veiws are stunning. The owner is very helpful. Garden is secure so the sheep were safe from the dogs. Lovely walk to Glenuig beach and Inn, but keep your dogs on a lead because the sheep wonder freely. There is a woodland trust walk further up the hill from the cottage through a gate where dogs can run. We would certainly stay here again.
