This lovely cottage has been well maintained and was spotlessly clean and fresh on our arrival. The wooden joinery and smart furnishings complement the cottage providing a nice mix of old character with a modern touch making a very cosy and comfortable stay. The cottage owners were extremely friendly and accommodating. There are various supermarkets a short drive away and everything you need from a town in Llanelli yet the cottages rural location means you can easily enter the slower place of life and enjoy the views. The bar opposite the cottage appeared to be aiming more at those who wanted dining and a restaurant yet we received a warm welcome when we called in for only drinks. Just up the road is The Stag pub where we were made most welcome, enjoying excellent meals and banter with the locals and staff, we would highly recommend it. There is plenty to see and do in South Wales and Rose Cottage provides an idea base to holiday from.

From welcome to goodbye, we had the most wonderful time at Rose Cottage. The owners are welcoming and helpful, which made our arrival and stay relaxed and enjoyable. The cottage has been finished to a really high standard, is clean, extremely well-equipped and very comfortable. Whilst phone signals and wifi are not great, this was a welcome treat. We were after all on holiday! However, the owners had even found a way to remedy that by providing a mobile wifi device and charger if it was needed. The log burner was brilliant and made the October half term even more cosy. The Stag pub which is situated just up the road was excellent value for money, offering a wide range of foods for the whole family. This is a cottage I would return to and would highly recommend it to others.

We felt welcome. The owners were kind en interested in us feeling comfortable in their cottage. Special compliment for the excellent bed en proper bathroom! Plenty of hiking routes in the area, as also beach, Llos Fas racecourse and gardens. Swansea en Cardiff nearby en worth a visit. Small point of criticism: the poor WIFI-connection at the site, which isn't the owners to blame. Highly recommendable!

We had a wonderful time at Rose Cottage. The cottage is well equipped - had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean and cosy. There is a cycle route on the doorstep and many beautiful places within easy driving distance. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring not only Carmarthenshire but the Gower penninsula and Tenby/Laugherne. Two completely different pubs within easy walking distance The owners were extremely amenable and helpful but not intrusive. Overall a perfect stay
