We have never stayed in the same cottage twice. We will come back to this one though. It's well placed, clean and full of equipment. It is on the main road but that doesn't matter as inside it was quiet. Plenty to see and do in the area and owners were very helpful.

Lovely clean well equipped cottage. The welcome pack was very thoughtful as was the milk supplied. I took so much stuff but needn't have!. All the kitchen basics were supplied..w/up liquid/sponge/tea sugar coffee/salt pepper etc. Kitchen cupboards well stocked with every possible utensil one would need. Utility room had dishwasher, washing machine, chest freezer, tumble dryer with a supply of dishwasher tabs etc all clearly labelled. If you are taking kids there were beach towels/buckets/spades/table and chairs for the lovely garden. Towels supplied, very comfortable bed. There was a supply of leaflets all about the local area and what to see and the owner kindly gave us a pass for Pembrey park so we didn't have to pay to park...very thoughtful again. Across the road and down another smaller Rd there was a really lovely dog friendly pub....the Pembrey Arms ...very welcoming and great food too!. We took our 2 dogs and they had great fun at the park and the Burns dog day out on the Sunday. Thank you so much to the lovely friendly welcoming owners and I am sure we will be back next year.

The owner has made sure that we didn't lack for anything. Plenty of games for the kids, wine, biscuits, tea and coffee, milk, dishwasher tabs, fresh bar of soap and loads more. These extra touches really made the difference for us as not all places go the extra mile like this. House has all the equipment we needed, loads of DVDs for the kids with a telly upstairs which they loved. House was dead clean throughout apart from allowing pets which means there is always some hair around despite the level of cleanliness otherwise. Clearly some other occupants had allowed animals on the sofas, which is unfair on those like us who don't like getting dog hair on themselves. Not the owners fault though.

Lovely place, if I was to be fussy the sofas in the living room were rather uncomfortable, but everything else was brilliant. My little girl loved that there were buckets and spades to take out with us!
