Customers’ Choice Award 2018
The coast is a short drive from this lovely cottage, with shared swimming pool, Battle and Tenterden easily reached.

In the heart of rural Kent, this attractive holiday cottage is ideally placed for exploring the area, and just a short drive from the coast. It stands in the owners’ beautiful landscaped grounds, complete with shared outdoor swimming pool and a lake where guests can picnic, yet is detached and secluded with its own terrace. There is a delightful sun room which overlooks the swimming pool and grounds, and is the perfect place in which to relax with a good book. Renovated to a high standard with terracotta-tiled floors and large first floor bedroom, it makes a cosy base for a couple or a family. Tenterden with many antique shops, medieval Rye, Battle, and Tunbridge Wells for shopping are all easily reached. On the coast are New Romney and Hythe, with Folkstone and Dover just an hour away for day trips to France. Shops and pub 2½ miles.

Fitted kitchen/sun room with dining area, terracotta-tiled floor, additional TV and French doors to patio. Living room with sofa-bed (alternative sleeping only). Shower room with toilet. First floor: Twin sleeping area with sloping ceiling and en-suite bathroom with shower attachment, toilet and sloping ceiling.

Very quiet. Very clean and comfortable. Loved the wildlife - rabbits, squirrels, fox, great spotted woodpecker and green woodpecker seen from the house. Owls heard every night - certainly tawny owls and probably little owls as well. Very pleasant to sit in the garden and walk down to the pond to sit under the trees.

A lovely cottage situated in the quiet Kentish countryside. Very clean and well kept. The cottage has all the usual amenities, washing machine, cooker, microwave, TV, downstairs bathroom and shower and upstairs bathroom. Situated 5miles from Ashford and only 30 minutes from the coast, it is in an ideal location. It has a lovely big garden with a nice swimming pool. Plenty of wildlife to see in the garden, foxes, rabbits, ducks, squirrels, mice, frogs, woodpeckers and deer. I would stay there again if i were to holiday in Kent again and would recommend it for couples and families.

We had a super time in the most beautiful lodge. Wildlife in the garden, a pool and really lovely people. We couldn't have asked for a better time. The lodge was fantastically well equipped and beautifully decorated. Everything you could need was there including a torch for a late night walk down to the pond!! Go! You will love it!
