Roof Stones has been recently converted from a traditional long barn into luxury self catering cottages. Accommodating six people, the cottage is bursting with character, exposed beams, log burning stove (starter pack of logs provided!), internal exposed stone walls and views to die for! Roof Stones has an adjoining cottage (Ground Stones 218014) that sleeps eight - perfect for larger families, offering privacy with en suite facilities to the master rooms. They can be booked together to accommodate 14 guests. Each cottage overlooks a private rock garden with the facility of a fully enclosed south facing garden, complete with fruit trees, barbecue and a charming arbour bench! There is also a games room with pool table, darts and board games. Situated in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, Roof Stones overlooks Wensleydale fells, moors, the River Ure and the unspoilt countryside between. Nestled on the outskirts of the bustling market town of Hawes, only a 5 minute walk, with its county-renowned deli, the famous Wensleydale Creamery, Ropemakers Centre, restaurants, five pubs, tea rooms, bistro, clothes shops and lovely gift shops. For adventurous guests there are two complimentary fishing passes for the River Ure - just a short walk over the adjacent field. And there are local walks a-plenty! (maps provided). All power, bed linen and towels included. Starter pack of fuel provided for the log burner. Pets maximum allowed. 1st pet is free the 2nd pet is charged at £20 per pet per week.Rock and moss garden to front with enclosed south facing garden with fruit trees, BBQ and arbour bench seating. Ample private off road parking. Shared games room, shared utility with washing machine, tumble dryer, freezer and cloakroom with WC and wash basin.
