The house is run down and smells damp. The pictures online are years out of date. There was no garden furniture at the front. The mattresses were lumpy and stained, and we couldn't move around the upstairs bedroom without waking people in the room below. The walls are infested with ants and on two nights flying ants came out of the walls in large numbers. This was in the upstairs and downstairs bedrooms. We particularly needed a walk in shower but it was unusuable. It barely had a trickle of water which varied from icy to scalding hot. The caretakers were friendly and have kept the house clean, but the damp and the smells made it unpleasant.

Typically French rustic old cottage with bags of charm. Overall décor and furniture/furnishings felt dated but bathroom renovated fairly recently and kitchen was well equipped. Overall everywhere was clean. The upstairs lounge/games area was a great space but got very warm in the summer evenings. Outside space was good.
