Absolutely excellent stay. Secluded little cottage with a lovely view and local amenities only a short drive away. They really had thought of all the home comforts we could possibly need, plenty of board games, puzzles, books and even netflix for entertainment. And there were some nice little treats upon our arrival which really made us feel welcome. We will definitely be going back.

A really beautiful cottage, furnished to a high standard with everything that we needed for our Christmas break. The cottage was tastefully decorated for Christmas with a lot of extra's such as individual Christmas cakes, puddings and a bottle of buck's fizz. milk and TV viewing guide. We were made very welcome by Rachel, who took time to meet us and see if we needed anything, which we didn't, as she had thought of everything. Our dog loved the field, especially when it snowed, thank you Rachel for letting us walk him there, it was his favourite place. The cottage is in a lovely tranquil spot, which allowed us to have the quiet, peaceful Christmas that we wanted, we look forward to returning.

Had a great week staying at Rodmore Lodge and sightseeing around the Forest of Dean and the Wye Valley, very picturesque, historical places we went to were Tintern Abbey, Chepstow Castle, St Briavels Castle as well as Monmouth, Ross on Wye, Gloucester Quays and the Cotswolds. Rodmore Lodge was home from home, and we wanted to say thank you to Rachael for all the special touches she included, a fabulous host providing more than you would normally receive when staying in a cottage, a credit to her, as the small touches make the holiday and we will certainly be booking to stay again.
