This is my own fault really , the house was just too small - and not a cottage at all. Parking was very problematic, and according to the info someone was due to come and collect rubbish on Tuesday, but nobody came.

    Response from: administrator

Response on behalf of the owner; The property is known as a cottage because of the size and the style. While the living room is snug, the kitchen/ diner and bedrooms are of a good size and all well equipped. Although on road parking is not always available there is a large car park close by in the same street.

The cottage was lovely - very well contained and clean and cosy. We had a lovely weekend and managed to get out and about albeit the weather wasn't great. The only downside was parking- there was none and it was difficult when we arrived to unpack and get all of our bags into the cottage. The shower also left a lot to be desired. It was slow and unpredicable but it didn't stop us enjoying a lovely break in a delightful part of the West Country.

We enjoyed the excellent location of this property as it is so close to restaurants, shops, the railway and the fantastic view of the sea that can be seen from the Churchyard. The cottage is spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable. We managed to work the oven without any problems by following them instructions taped inside a cupboard. The cottage was chilly at first as the storage heaters had been turned off but the very pleasant and helpful caretaker, Gary, who lives nearby showed us where to find an electric heater so all was well. (The storage heaters worked from the next day onwards.) The shower was tricky in that it took a while to work out the best setting for flow and to maintain temperature. The furniture in the very small courtyard was wrapped up for winter while we were there.
