Annabel is a very welcoming homeowner and the cottage was ideal for our group. Good base for walking or exploring further afield. Sitting on the terrace in autumn sunshine was very relaxing. The farm shop was a bonus - very close to the cottage and selling newspapers - as well as delicious food etc. Our "gang of four" (from boarding-school days) have rented about 20 self-catering properties and this was certainly a good find.

Wonderful, cosy cottage, nice view. Nice village, pub (excellent food) smallest post office in England, farm shop. Very well equipped!

The house lacked WiFi, which is a major gap in this day and age. While charming on the outside, the house had limited charm on the inside. Additionally, parking was not easy. On a positive note, the location between major points of interest and the proximity of a very good pub were pluses.

Lovely cottage, very rural. Close to local town by car. Pub 3 Daggers really good with a well stocked farm shop as well, even sells papers!! Overall a great place to stay, had a great time.

Attractive and surprisingly spacious cottage with 3 large bedrooms and good sized living space. Well located for longleat and in nice village with very good farm shop. Only negative was that the rayburn in the kitchen (which kept it nice and warm) which smelled rather strongly of oil, so we kept the kitchen door closed to keep the smell in there. Not being familiar with rayburns we didn't know if this was normal.
