Our party of 5 + dog enjoyed a lovely holiday at the cottage in Edington. We found the house spacious, with plenty of room to spread out. Despite being an old cottage, it had many of the features of modern living - such as a homely kitchen with a dining table. Worth a mention is the charming garden, with its tiers, fruit trees and seating areas - and it was secure for the dog. Thank you to the owners.

This is a lovely property in beautiful surroundings. I had a lovely time here. But i did find the kitchen unclean. The plates glasses knifes and forks were mostly dirty. . I had to wash it all before i used them.. this could be down to dish washer not cleaning it all properly.. but it was very off putting. Also when i arrived there was a awful oil smell which made u feel sick.. this was from where the owners had tried to light ray burn before i arrived but it wouldn't work. I had to ppen all the doors to get fresh in.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; We are sorry that you found anything dirty. Certainly not our intention. The oil rayburn was removed after Christmas. It was rather old and giving problems especially when accidentally turned off by previous guests so not giving much time to re- light and heat up before the next arrival. There is now a new electric range cooker in its place so this should never happen again.
