A carefully curated collection of properties that offer high quality, good value accommodation in great locations across the UK, Ireland, France and Italy

Just quarter of a mile from the nearest beach and set in a quiet location just a few hundred yards from the quay and amenities.

Rockhopper Cottage is a spacious, terraced maisonette apartment situated on a quiet residential road, just 400 yards from local amenities. Decorated and furnished to a good standard, the property is just a 10-minute walk away from Brixham Quay where you can take a boat trip or go fishing. There is a spacious, enclosed garden with a decking area, ideal for enjoying a glass of wine when the sun is shining. A ferry to Torquay operates daily, which makes for a great day out where you can spend an afternoon at the theatre or take the children to see penguins at Living Coasts Zoo. Brixham, an old fishing port, has numerous seafood restaurants and forms the third part of ’Torbay’, along with Torquay and Paignton.
South Devon’s two main cities, Exeter and Plymouth, are both within easy driving distance, and offer a plethora of tourist attractions, including historical buildings and quaint shops. Dartmoor is breathtakingly beautiful and is ideal for a walk through the countryside. Dartmoor is home to wild ponies and ancient stone bridges, spanning the clear bubbling waters of the River Dart. Wonderful cottages, beautifully decorated throughout. Just 5 minutes walk from Brixham harbour. Lovely outdoor space, perfect for both a relaxing break and also close to many activities; regular ferries to Paignton, Torquay. Gorgeous beaches on the doorstep. Could not ask for more.

Lovely cottage. Very close to everything you will need, the only minus would be that you have to be able to climb steep slopes, if you can't then it's not for you. Can't fault the equipment, comfort and cleanliness of the cottage, it has everything you need, it's a real home from home. Would definitely go again.

Rockhopper Cottage is a lovely place to stay. The decor is fresh and homely and the facilities are excellent: a well-equipped, decent-sized kitchen, a huge bathroom with separate bath and shower, comfy beds and sofas and lots of storage in the bedrooms and space in the dining room. It was nice to be greeted with tea, coffee, milk and chocolate cake! The only downsides for us were that it was half-way up a very steep hill (and the local amenities were are the bottom) and the road gets busy with parked cars so we had to park quite a distance from the cottage each day. We didn't spend much time in Brixham itself but travelled to Torquay and Paignton. We had a smashing holiday in South Devon and Rockhopper Cottage made a good base from which to explore.
