Shop, pub and restaurant 3 miles.

The approach road is very narrow but there is little traffic. The cottage was well equipped, clean and comfortable. 20 minutes to the Eden Project, similar distance from the coast. Excellent.

We loved our stay at Rock Barn, the accommodation was fabulous. The owners were lovely and friendly. We had romantic evenings in peace and tranquillity in front of the fire - we can't wait to return in the near future.

We had a fabulous time at Rock Barn. The owner was welcoming and the cottage was immaculately clean. We were expecting a cosy cottage. I think I enjoyed it more than my husband (he is over 6 foot tall - I should have researched accomodation a little more, as there were moment to towards the end of our stay when he felt a little cramped with having to constantly duck his head. I'm average height, so had no issues!)

Could have been much improved by more comfortable seating in the lounge area. Settee was hard and small for two people and the only other option were two wooden chairs with scatter cushions - very uncomfortable after a day out exploring when all one wants to do is 'chill'. Otherwise barn was sweet and in many ways ideal - but spoiled by what we have stated above.

Our second stay at Rock Barn last October. A very beautiful and individual holiday cottage which ticks all of our boxes for a UK break. The location is very quiet, we had a perfectly comfortable & peaceful stay.

A great base to explore from. It's very quiet and remote but only a short drive from the main road. New M&S garage is 5 min drive away and great for provisions. Kitchen well stocked with pans etc. Decent selection of games and dvds for rainy days. Lovely exposed beams and quaint cottage features. Not a 10 because it doesn't have a bath or wifi.
