Far reaching views can be admired from this single storey barn, perfect for a family holiday.

Approached by a winding farm track, Robin’s Nest is one of a row of converted, traditional granite barns at Kerrow Farm. Surrounded by open fields, this single-storey barn has far reaching views of the Atlantic Ocean towards Sennen Cove and Land’s End. The enclosed lawned garden leads to guests’ own ½-acre meadow (great for picnics and kite flying). Chapel Carn Brea (the NT first and last hill in England) forms a backdrop to Robin’s Nest, and a 20-minute walk along the public footpath in front of Kerrow Farmhouse leads to the summit, from which there are 360-degree panoramic views, from the Brisons (off Cape Cornwall) past Land’s End and the Longships Lighthouse, and round to Mounts Bay. Being in a peaceful, rural location, away from the main road, Robin’s Nest is ideal for children who can play while Mum and Dad prepare a meal, or take a well earned rest. Sennen Cove and the spectacular sandy surfing beaches of Whitesand Bay and Gwynver are just 2 miles away, while the famous Minack open air theatre and the fishing village of Mousehole are a short drive. St Just 2½ miles and Penzance 7 miles (good for shopping). Shops 2 miles.

2 steps to entrance. All on ground floor: Living room. Kitchen with dining area. 3 bedrooms: 1 double, 1 twin, 1 bunk (upper bunk bed at right angles to lower). Bathroom with shower over bath and toilet.

Partial NSH, electricity, bed linen and towels included. Cot. High chair. TV/DVD. Stereo/CD. Microwave. Washing machine. Fridge/freezer. Enclosed lawned garden with picnic benches. Meadowland of ½ acre. Parking (2 cars). No smoking. NB: Drop in garden.

A great cottage in a lovely location with great walks for us and our dog right from the doorstep (cottage enclosed garden great for dogs) The 'welcome pack' was most appreciated The local attractions include Sennon Cove, Lands End, Botallack, St Just and Penzance. Wonderful coastal walks within easy reach. We will certainly come back for another visit

I picked this cottage because of the great reviews but ended up disappointed The cottage was okay but not as I had expected. It felt damp in the property and it took a few days of heating for that to go away. The table in the back garden needs some attention as it appears to be rotting It was nice to have a blu ray player with USB capability The kitchen was a reasonable size for the 2 of us but larger parties would struggle I paid less for better amenities in the past so it is not good value for money I'm afraid

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner: I’m sorry you felt you had to give Robins Nest such a low score. We have electric Night Storage Heaters in every room, except for the bathroom where there is a heated towel rail. I stay at Robins Nest myself during the cold winter months of November and February, and the cottage is always perfectly warm and cosy. I will address the "rot" on the picnic table when I come down . Over the past 12 months, we have had 9 excellent Reevoos, from happy holidaymakers who have all given us scores of 8,9 &10.The majority of visitors are families, who seem to find the kitchen size fine.

We had a really nice stay at Robins Nest. The cottage is located near enough to good amenities but not too near
