Great location, easy reach of town with a good choice of pubs and places to eat. Riverside is spacious and well equipped. Very peaceful setting if you are looking for quiet retreat. My husband fished from the garden and caught a barbel and some chub. Definitely would stay again.

As always lovely week with Andrew and Lynda usual fantastic hosts. This was our 5th visit .The only thing we would change is to return to a Saturday to Saturday situation as Friday traffic is always a bit of a nightmare.

We have just had a wonderful week at this lovely cottage. Very comfortable and warm , every thing has been thought through and supplied . The view outside the bedroom balcony is second to none. Very convenient location, walk straight into village, shops and pubs. Central for all you would want to visit in the Cotswolds. Lovely flowers and bottle of fizz on arrival. Can not recommend it highly enough. Will certainly go back.

Excellent apartment and location with a brilliant view of the river and countryside from the bedroom balcony. Great facilities including good wifi, DVD collection and lots of guides for the area. The only negative was that we couldn't get the heating higher and because of this noticed some draughts when the winds were blowing. Owners very helpful and pleasant with good knowledge of the local area. We thoroughly recommend the property and sitting on the balcony in the summer watching the wildlife and birds would be magic. A short walk to the shops, pubs banks and supermarkets. About 6 miles from Stratford-Upon-Avon, not far from Evesham and Worcester.

It couldn't be in a better location - overlooking the river and natural environment, but just a short walk along a very picturesque street to the town centre which contained the right mix of shops. The owners were friendly and obliging, and Alcester was a great place to stay being reasonably quiet and tourist-free despite its historical buildings, but within easy reach of many interesting other places to visit.
