This beautifully presented, detached bungalow sits in the owner’s well-established garden and has two of Cornwall’s loveliest gardens within a short walk. This area of Cornwall is inundated with many tourist attractions, pretty coastal villages and resorts; from Fowey to Mevagissey the whole of St Austell Bay is dotted with secret coves and secluded beaches, such as Menabilly made famous by Daphne du Maurier. The village of Charlestown, frequently used as a film and TV set, is just a stroll away from the holiday property, and has several good places to eat right on the ancient quayside which is the home to the Tall Ships used on many films. The Eden Project and The Lost Gardens of Heligan, both a must for all visitors to Cornwall, are close by and can even be visited by bike - a cycle hire centre can be found in the village of Pentewan across the bay. Shop 1 mile, pub and restaurant 0.25 miles.

All on ground floor: Living room with double sofa bed (for alternative sleeping) and patio doors/dining room/kitchen with wooden floor. 1 double (5ft) bedroom. Shower room with toilet.

Gas central heating included (£30per week November-March). Gas, electricity, bed linen and towels included. Freeview TV. DVD. Gas hob. Electricity oven. Microwave. Washing machine. Tumble dryer. Dishwasher. Freezer. Small enclosed courtyard with sitting-out area and furniture. Shared use of owner’s large garden. Parking (2 cars). Welcome pack. No smoking. No children under 10 years. Couples and family bookings only. NB: Pond in owner’s garden.

An ideal location for visiting the surrounding attractions such as Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan, Looe, Charleston to name a few Wi-fi would have been very useful however was not available.

A lovely cottage, immaculately clean, very well appointed. Nice seat to view the garden and safe car parking. Would highly recommend staying here to explore the surrounding areas. However St Austell has little to recommend it as a town worth visiting. The other parts are fabulous. Suggest Lanhydrock, Port Issac, Padstow, Porthleven, Charlestown. Plus the Eden project and Helligan.
