Riverside Cottage is located adjacent to the owner’s home on the former railway known as the Mineral Line. This is a very quiet area and ideal for being able to take a gentle walk to and from the nearby village of Roadwater. The cottage is located in the owner’s extensive gardens and enjoys its own stream bordered garden. The comfortable accommodation is complimented by the gardens and the use of the owner’s outdoor swimming pool (until 2016). Riverside Cottage is ideal for those seeking peace and quiet but is also ideally located for exploring this interesting and wonderful part of the British Isles. There is superb scenery and walking on the South West Coastal Path or inland in the Exmoor National Park, with many places to visit to make a memorable holiday. The Victorian villages of Lynmouth and Lynton are famous for the Watermeet Gorge (NT), the Valley of the Rocks and the funicular cliff railway. Looking towards Minehead, there is the promenade to enjoy a walk and an ice cream as well as having a good array of shops and other amenities. A visit to the enchanting medieval Dunster Castle (NT), with its beautiful terraced gardens, deer park and mill will make for an interesting day out. There are beaches to enjoy at Dunster and Blue Anchor. Beach 4½ miles. Shop and pub ½ mile.
