This delightful, cosy holiday cottage is situated in a small hamlet and adjoins the owners’ home, yet convenient for the main A30, which ensures easy access for exploring West Cornwall, with its mining history and heather clad moorland. Continue round the coast to the fishing port of Newlyn and the quaint harbour and village of Mousehole. Visit the romantic Minack open air theatre cut in to the rock face with ocean as a back drop, overlooking Porthcurno beach. Land’s End, Britain’s most westerly point and the stunning beach at Sennen are within easy reach. Take the scenic coastal train from nearby St Erth to St Ives, with its picturesque harbour and gorgeous beaches. The azure coloured sea and light attract artists from around the world and is the home to The Tate Modern and Barbra Hepworth Museum. Explore the cobbled streets with cafés and restaurants overlooking the water front. The area is popular with walkers with links to South West Coastal Paths. Visit sub-tropical gardens including Trebah, Durgan and Trelissick. Golf courses, cycle trails and fishing trips are available close by or just simply relax on one of the area’s beautiful beaches. We loved the cottage - so well equipped that we wanted for nothing. Warm and cosy and full of character. The owners were wonderful - leaving lovely treats for us and Poppy, our dog.

Excellent holiday the cottage was really well equipped and very quaint, close to the A30 so it was very easy to get to all the beauty spots close to and around the Penzance area. The owners were very accommodating and the welcome pack was very much appreciated, we would recommend this cottage.

What a wonderful place to stay :-) this was my first visit to Cornwall and the cottage and its location was just perfect. It is so pretty and has everything you need, you immediately feel at home. Jan and Dave welcomed us to the cottage and left us a delicious cream tea and treats for my dog Lady. Although they live next door they left us to enjoy our holiday but knowing that if we needed anything we only had to ask. We bumped into them a few times on our way out or back to the cottage and they always had time for a chat and to check we were happy with everything. The cottage is very dog friendly too. Lady was poorly whilst we were there so we couldn't go out as much as we had planned. But we were quite happy to spend more time in the cottage, curled up in the living room watching a dvd or sat out in the pretty garden enjoying the sunshine. Lady absolutely loved the cottage and felt right at home which was lovely to see. There is a pub and shop nearby and St Erth station where you can get the train over to St Ives. The supermarket is about a 10 minute drive as is Marazion beach and St Michaels Mount which are well worth a visit. We would love to return to the cottage we had such an enjoyable stay :-)
