A really nice big house, with a lovely river view. The village itself is quiet and pleasant but limited in terms of amenities. Fine if you've got a car or if you're willing to walk a bit. The host was really helpful, despite us arriving very late in the evening. Very well quipped and tidy. A really nice place to stay.

Lovely house and garden - Great outdoor space for adults and children alike, especially by the riverbank. The only concern would be the french windows on the first floor living room that only had a bar across.

We had a fabulous time staying at this cottage over Christmas, the kitchen was extremely well equipped and the rooms spacious and comfortable. The views from the ground floor twin bedroom and the main upstairs lounge were fantastic, and being able to walk out of the garden onto the riverbank and go for a long dog walk, then return and relax looking out across the views was great. We didn't actually venture out much due to the time of year so can't really comment on location in terms of things to do/places to visit. The beautiful 12th century church just behind the cottage is well worth a visit, we were fortunate enough to enjoy going along to a Christingle service on Christmas Eve and it was a very friendly service. The welcome bottle of Prosecco and chocolates were also a nice touch.
