We had a great weekend stay in the cottage in late April, it was quiet and comfortable, with plenty of space for us and lovely outside seating area - we did have some scattered sunshine to enjoy! The bedrooms and 2 bathrooms were good, and a nice big kitchen for us to cook and have meals together. We appreciated the milk, butter and crumpets left for us by the owner too, thank you. Our only suggestion would be to move the tv to the larger upstairs living room, as the downstairs area wasn't big enough for our group to sit together to watch a movie one evening, but this is likely a personal preference. We would recommend the property to families and groups of friends, it is also (one) dog friendly.

Stayed for a family wedding. Great house for all ages and mobility. Pity the Main lounge was upstairs as it was beautiful. My mother in law very disabled so we were all downstairs .

A really nice big house, with a lovely river view. The village itself is quiet and pleasant but limited in terms of amenities. Fine if you've got a car or if you're willing to walk a bit. The host was really helpful, despite us arriving very late in the evening. Very well quipped and tidy. A really nice place to stay.

Lovely house and garden - Great outdoor space for adults and children alike, especially by the riverbank. The only concern would be the french windows on the first floor living room that only had a bar across.

We enjoyed our weekend in this well situated and comfortable house. There is plenty of room inside and outside and it was unusual but good to have an upstairs living room. The house is well equipped. We didn't have long enough to explore the local surroundings but would like to come back to the house to do so. Mrs P was very helpful and happy to make our stay as good as it could have been. Thank you.
