The cottage was good for our purposes which were basically to fish the River Wye. The Cottage, however, was very dated and slightly shabby which was a shame as the location was good.

Beatiful views, lovely area. Cottage is a bit dated, could do with a fresh new look inside. Bedrooms very comfy.

We had a lovely time - Wye Valley is so beautiful we were tempted to stay at the cottage all day just admiring the view!

We had a lovely time staying in this gorgeous cottage. It was perfectly placed to go exploring the Forest of Dean, with us having walks through the woods at the beautiful RSPB Nagshead reserve and Parkend woodlands. The cottage itself was clean, well equipped and a perfect, quiet retreat once the sun had set on our day's activities. The log fire was fantastic to relax in front of and it gave a really nice rustic, cosy feel to the cottage. We would highly recommend this cottage and if we were to return to the area in the future it would be our first choice.
