River View Cottage sit at the bottom of a valley in the middle of remote, working farmland just 1.5 miles from Tebay. Panoramic views can be enjoyed from both properties towards Tebay Fell, The Howgills and Jeffrey’s Mount, the sheep dotted landscape a far cry from the tarmac of the M6 which is just minutes away - and you’d never know it. Transformed from redundant farm buildings, these two cottages offer quality accommodation for those looking for a very peaceful retreat. Kingfishers and Heron can be seen catching their prey in the river below whilst sheep graze the land surrounding the cottages. Numerous walks along bridle paths and fell sides are readily available from the door, both properties having delightful patio areas from where to take in the fabulous scenery. River View Cottage can be booked with Riverbank Cottage and Coombe Cottage on the same site to accommodate up to 16 people. The cottages are reached down a narrow, bumpy track so please take care with low vehicles.

NB: The property is close to the river. Private fishing can be purchased on request. Playground for children with playhouses, and football and basket ball nets.
