A great place to stay. Nice friendly owners, there if you needed them but also gave you plenty of privacy. Perfect location to go walking and sightseeing from with some good walks close to the property. The house was modern, very clean, nice and warm and had everything you needed on a holiday.

Really great base for exploring the Highlands - Inverness and Culloden, Eilean Donan Castle and Skye, Loch Ness Visitor Centre and Urquhart Castle. Plenty to do. Also spent a bit of time at the canalside in Fort Augustus watching the boats go through. The village is within walking distance of the cottage. Boat trips available from Fort Augustus too and lots of walks around the village. Boathouse restaurant worth a visit - has a lovely setting on the Loch. Cottage was extremely comfortable, clean and well equipped. Owners very friendly and informative about the area. They had a large garden which our eight year old could play in before we set off each day.
