Bruce and Mary - the owners made us welcome. The cottage was lovely and met our requirements. Old meets new worked well and gave a modern take of living to an old building. The wood burner wasn't working but we didn't need it as central heating was sufficient. Double bed would of been better if it was a king size rather than a queen size but that was just our preference. Beams are low and I had to duck down a bit and I'm only 5' 9" so if you're over 6' it would be annoying. The cottage is in a very quiet lane so very peaceful with lovely countryside and small market towns to visit, we would definitely visit the area again

Rimpton Mill is a beautifully converted mill - the structure and quality of the fixtures and fittings is excellent and tastefully done. In our opinion though, we felt that the level of "creature comforts" was less than we have been used to in other holiday lets - smaller beds and towels than we would choose, few coat hangers, the woodburner out of action and no welcome pack. The house is quiet, well insulated has good heating, plenty of hot water and adequate off road parking. The house is also in an ideal location to visit a huge variety of places of interest.

Was a very clean cottage. As there were four of us we thought there could be more cutlery and plates as there were only four of everything. Bruce and Mary were a very friendly couple. We did find the location a bit remote.
