Absolutely outstanding. Our party's ages ranged from 19 to 73 and we all loved it. The house has been beautifully restored and modernised and it is fantastically well equipped. Shirley and Melvyn were superb hosts - they made us feel thoroughly welcome, rapidly dealt with our queries about how things worked, and were generally delightful.

One of the best holiday homes we have stayed in. The Farmhouse has been refurbished to a very high standard. The kitchen and garden room are perfect. There is nothing that has not been thought of. Would highly recommend. Hope to get back again

Really lovely house and perfect for a group of 9 of us. The extra touches when we arrived were appreciated. Great lawns around the house for sitting out in. Very clean. The kitchen had every utensil and accessory you could possibly want and more.

We stayed in February as a family of 3 generations plus dog. The house was immaculate, and we were made to feel very welcome by the owners Melvyn and Shirley. As keen cooks we loved the kitchen which contained all the equipment you could possibly need for a large group. There would be plenty of room for 10 adults here. Bedrooms were all large and comfortable, and the house was warm and cozy throughout. The location is very quiet with lots of walks nearby, just beware of the stiles if you have a big dog with you! The local shop in Marley (about 2 miles) has all the essentials, and we would also recommend the Masons Arms nearby.

This is simply the best house we have rented for large gatherings. We were welcomed very warmly by the owners who had made some lovely cakes and provided a basket of fresh eggs from their own chickens. The house is superb with every conceivable utensil, plate, glassware, etc provided, 2 wood burning stoves and so many sofas and chairs I don't think we used them all! The kitchen is a great size for lots of people to cook and help out at the same time and it even has a bench seat for others to relax and watch what's going on. The surrounding countryside is lovely for walks straight from the front door and there are loads to choose from in the house, although Shirley designed one for us-and even walked it so we knew how long it would take. Amazing! We will definitely be back. Thanks so much for making our 30th wedding anniversary such a memorable one.
