Richmond Hoo is very comfortable in fair weather or foul with good local walks and interesting places to visit within easy driving. Aldeburgh, Southwold, Minsmere and Ipswich were all enjoyed and the cinema and restaurant at Woodbridge is worth a visit. Sue made us very welcome with home made cakes and other goodies and lots of helpful advice.

This is one of the best cottages we have stayed in. The cottage is warm, clean, comfortable, lovely and quiet, and has everything you need and more. Plenty of walks from the door and an enclosed garden is perfect for dogs. A warm welcome awaits and the brownies and wine were much appreciated. We would certainly book again.

This was our second visit to Richmond Hoo and we weren't disappointed. From the minute we arrived nothing was too much trouble for the owners. There was cake and wine waiting for us and essentials (milk, coffee, tea, sugar). The large garden is fantastic for the dogs, who had a fantastic time. Its very rare that we have found hosts that go above and beyond their guests needs but this property has 2 of the best. It's a fantastic place to relax, with lots of games, books and dvds should there be a rainy day. There are lots of places to explore and would highly recommend some of the country pubs. Looking forward to our next visit.

We have now had 3 holidays at Richmond Hoo. The owners who live next door are lovely, very helpful and friendly and provide the most delicious home made cakes as a welcome. The property is great, particularly good for anyone with mobility issues with level access and a super wet room. There is a good shop and pub in the village and lots of good places to visit within reasonable distance. There is a good sized enclosed garden and the property is dog friendly, who could want for anything more? Would highly recommend this property.

The best accommodation we've ever stayed in, perfect setting for getting away from it all. Nothing too much trouble for the owners.
