A fabulous place to stay at and the owners were very helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much. My children also enjoyed seeing and feeding the animals especially the newly hatched ducklings x12. Good location and easy access for Lille, Brugges etc.

Our holiday was all around WW 1 sites, memorials and cemeteries and the location was as good as we could have hoped for. So we needed a location close to the old front line and about mid-point in traveling to Lille, Arras, Albert, Mons and even Ypres and we got that with Mons and Albert been the furthest we travelled about 30 miles taking about 1:15 hour. The village had a small store ect which was enough. Even the history of the old farm was of interest with it been so close to the front line, which was in the fields to the rear of the farm, the farm itself was completely destroyed with the exception of a wooden out building at the rear. They had even kept in good condition an old British lookout tower, which can still be seen today, which was hidden to the rear of the wooden out building in a wooded are. Then we had our first cemetery which was only 75 yards along the road from the farm and which we looked onto across a small field to the side of the Gide. The property itself was well situated after a day driving around we came back to the sun on the front of the Gite and we could site out enjoying a nice drink. The property was large and well fitted out and you could not of asked for any more in a holiday home. The family that owned the property were great and they left us alone but were also very friendly. I have been to a few of these all over France and I thought my last one in Normandy would take some beating but this one did that.

Great holiday. Property was lovely. The things we would ask to be looked at in the property are the living room chairs. Very uncomfortable and small. Shower head in upstairs bedroom needs changing. Friendly and helpful owner.
