We loved the fact it was on a working farm, it was clean and had everything you need for your stay. All the little extras were a lovely touch from the milk, wine and flowers on arrival to the bread for you to make. Stunning views great location would definitely stay again.

Great location, plenty of space, nice secure garden area and a wonderful view over the valley. Spotlessly clean and comfortable, lacked a few items for ease of use with young children but overall highly recommend for a pleasant stay exploring the local area.

Great property, spacious, comfortable & well epuiped. Loved the open plan living area. Lots of good local pubs nearby for eating out & good location to go out exploring North Yorkshire although a little isolated.

This was the best holiday cottage we have stayed in over the past 10 years or so. It was clean, warm, welcoming and comfortable. We arrived with our normal box of things such as sharp knives, larger mugs lean chopping boards only to find they were all unnecessary as they were provided We arrived to find a lovely bottle of red wine, milk and basic ingredients too, including a bread mix for the bread-maker, which was lovely. Great location for walks on the Moors and access to coast was easy too - returning to cosy underfloor heating in a lovely quiet location. WIFI worked well which kept our teenage kids happy too.

We had a fabulous weekend with the family. We only wished we had booked for longer. The complimentary bottle of wine and the bread maker was a very nice touch. We thoroughly enjoyed the walks around the farm with our 2 year old daughter and our dog. We will definitely be booking up again soon.

I have stayed at Riccal Heads many times before for girly weekends. This time I wanted to bring my family and friends. They wasn't disappointed they all loved it. They loved it that much they all wanted to stay extra nights because it's that chilled. Our friends took there little dog { Ted } he loved the walks . We also found a lovely pub in Pickering which dogs could go into which was a bonus. Judi the owner is lovely nothing is to much bother. She leave flowers, wine plus ingredients to make bread which is a lovely touch.
