This charming cottage enjoys a peaceful location, within easy reach of the local attractions including the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path.

Nestled peacefully in the rolling countryside, this traditional Welsh barn has been finished to a good standard and is just a stones’ throw away from the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. Rhyndaston Villa Cottage, dating back to the 18th century, has retained much of its original charm and character and along with added amenities for that unforgettable experience. The cottage boasts a large enclosed garden with a patio area which is perfect for unwinding after a busy days exploration. The area itself has lots to offer, including fantastic walks along the iconic coastal path where you will find the picturesque harbour towns of Porthgain and Solva, offering unblemished beaches, boutique shops and irresistible restaurants. Visitors can enjoy a host of activities such as horse riding and golf, as well as surfing at Newgale Beach with its permanent summer surf school. The small city of St Davids is well worth the visit, featuring the magnificent 12th century cathedral and medieval ruins of the Bishop’s Palace, both spectacular landmarks to explore. Away from the coast, Pembrokeshire’s countryside is just as promising with its array of charming market towns and medieval castles dotted around the county; history is only a short drive away to be explored. Pembrokeshire’s award-winning leisure attractions including Oakwood and Folly Farm are within easy reach and provide a thrilling day out for the family! Single bed needs re-newing. I note other people have made the same comment but owners clearly not listening!! Dog hairs under the chairs etc - again others have made same comments. Pleasant cottage adjacent to old farm buildings. Peaceful, tranquil and perfect for bird watchers. Narrow roads difficult for big cars and nervous drivers, but otherwise delightful location.

We had a great two week stay. The rural location was beautiful and peaceful and the owners were most kind and helpful. An ideal location for exploring the beautiful Pembrokeshire area and enjoying great bodyboarding at Whitesands Bay.

Our first trip away with our two welsh sheepdogs and the cottage was perfectly suited to accommodate our dogs who settled in immediately. Very comfortable, clean, well equipped cottage, and a most beautiful and peaceful location a MUST if you want to relax and de-stress. Within easy driveable reach of the coastal paths, local pubs, The Wolfe Inn (Wolfcastle) fabulous. Beautiful Pembrokeshire, we loved every minute of it. Will definitely return.

Really enjoyed our week in Rhyndaston cottage. A large cottage with plenty of space for the four of us and our two dogs. Very peaceful with beautiful views from the conservatory windows. A nice sized garden for our dogs. The cottage was very well equipped and comfortable. In a remote location but we didn't mind as it is only a short drive to the beach. Would stay here again.

We wanted a holiday that was away from the town and city life... it certainly ticked every box for that!! Highly recommend and we will definitely go back to the cottage 😀

We enjoyed a splendid week at Rhyndaston Villa Cottage. The location is secluded within a lovely landscape and provides an excellent base for exploring Pembrokeshire. The cottage itself was very comfortable, well equipped with good quality appliances, and well suited to our needs. We found the cottage was very clean on arrival and the owner's welcome pack provided a very nice gesture to get our break off to a great start. Although we didn't experience any problems the owner lives only about two miles away and was available to help resolve any issues if needed. The local people we encountered during our stay were all very friendly and we hope to return before too long to repeat our experience.

We enjoyed our holiday in this lovely location. We watched with interest the farmers getting in the harvest. We meet the owner on arrival, and when we had a problem with the electrics, he was very prompt in dealing with the problem. We much appreciated the wine, and the milk left for us, and the kitchen was well equipped, but a dishwasher would have been very useful. We thought the cottage was very comfortable, but that the back bedrooms needed new mattress on them. We would recommend this cottage.

Had a relaxing stay at cottage, quiet peaceful location on a working farm, only neighbours were a herd of cows and a few bats at night. Spacious and well equipped, plenty of room for 5 people although there were only 2 of us and our 2 dogs. Useful large garage if needed, nice private enclosed garden with lovely views. We have been booking with cottages for you for a number of years now and this one is probably the best one we have stayed in so far. Beaches were very nice, a lot of them dog friendly, beautiful sunset over Newgale ( be careful you don't twist an ankle negotiating the mountain of pebbles before you get to the sand!)

Cottage superb, ideal for us as 3 Generation family, lots of room and privacy. All home comforts, use of washing machine, useful with family returning from beach. Kitchen , so many cupboards, well equipped and still loads of space for food storage. Good to have two sitting areas and two TV's ( but views out of windows better than TV) Cottage is remote but OK if you shop to allow for this. If not, there is a local shop a short drive away. Over all Holiday 9/10 couple of days rain spoiled it slightly, just dress for it.
